Our Team

Scott Ellis

President

Scott Ellis has 19 years experience in Law Enforcement serving as a Detective specializing in violent crimes against persons and on the Special Tactics and Rescue Team and a narcotics officer. Mr. Ellis also served on the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Joint Terrorism Task Force team. Mr. Ellis has significant experience with Highway Safety Programs and is a nationally sought speaker and consultant on Terrorism, as well as on Highway Safety, Alcohol Laws and the Hospitality Industry. Mr. Ellis is a member of the Association of Chiefs of Police and the Sheriff’s Association. A graduate of Ferris State University Mr. Ellis has presided on a variety of boards including the Child Abuse Protocol Board, Association of Chiefs of Police Traffic Safety Committee, the Impaired Driving Steering Committee, Resurrection School Security and Safety Committee, and Small Talk Child Abuse Prevention Board.

William Baker

Risk Analyst/Crisis Advisor

Bill has been in the Emergency Management and Response business for the past 12 years, serving as Vice President – Operations with the most respected Emergency Response consulting firm in the country. He was involved Critical Incident Response, Hazard Management, Vulnerability Assessments, and Business Plan Preparation and Training.

For the past two years, he has also been involved in Open-Source Social Media Monitoring. This technique was developed as a way to identify specific Threats and Risks posted on various Social Media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Reddit, etc.). A variety of monitoring services are utilized to perform both general and detailed Predictive Intelligence Risk analysis. Thousands of social media postings are evaluated to identify threatening messages. Bill uses his training and experience to capture the nuance of social intelligence postings to concentrate on critical information. Timely use of intelligence gathering prior to or at the time of an event protects people, addresses potential liability, and safeguards brand and reputation.

After receiving and MBA from Stanford University, Bill has held executive positions with six large international corporations. In addition to work in the United States, he has worked in Spain, Canada, Australia, and the United Kingdom.
